As part of a yearlong community service project, 8th grade students in the Delta House at Lake Geneva Middle School have been selling healthy snacks with all proceeds being donated to student-selected organizations.
The students nominate an organization, make presentations about their nominated organizations and the entire Delta House student body votes on the final recipients.
This year's recipients were Open Arms Free Clinic, Lake Geneva Food Pantry, and the Nathan Dyer fund. A total of $2100.00 will be donated! Delta House teachers are proud of what our students have been able to accomplish.
On Monday, May 14, the Delta House presented the funds raised.
